How to Perform: Spring Cleaning is not just for springtime anymore! When is the last time you tidied your living space? I understand that some people can avoid making messes or may have all their ducks in a row, but anyone can benefit from at least one hour of housecleaning. I always feel like a great burden has lifted from my head and shoulders when I have spent an hour Spring Cleaning.
Take care not to bite off more than you can chew. Some of us cannot clean a whole room, we need to instead to break the room down into manageable tasks. For example, if you cannot walk into an area because the walkway is obstructed by things, concentrate on making at least a temporary walkway. If something is garbage, dispose of it properly either by recycling, composting or getting rid of it. If you are undecided about something, place it in the “undecided box” until you are decided.
Dusting and sweeping are exercises that can almost always be performed with noticeable results.
